There are a few causes why our illusions do not materialize. Take a look and evaluate if one of them seems familiar to you:
These usually create a feeling of inertia and amazement. There are most likely many “small-big” details in which it is important to take care before launching yourself into a bigger space. When a priority area of your life lack of equilibrium, it means that there’s “something” that hasn’t yet been healed or completed. This way you operate unconsciously, grow insecure and no matter how great are your goal setting, your motivation will be not long-lasting.
Floating Objectives: These objectives aren’t related to your vision. One: In what somebody thinks you should do or desire. Two: It’s based solely on an illusion which does not encourage any of your achievement intentions on your life. There is no comprehensive plan or a fixed strategy. And if indeed there is any, you will keep on postponing more than achieving. Not having a strategy is the same thing as having neither plan nor action.
Ambiguous Objectives: Here it’s difficult for you to establish a concrete strategy. Too much talking, too little of action. On the other hand, your objectives are so ambiguous that your plan is not specific enough to have a tangible result.

Very rigid or absolute goals: There is an expectation created of how each result should look like. It does not give you space to creativity and to flow before any change or unexpected challenge.
